About The Stone
Libyan Desert Glass formed approximately 29 million years ago in the Sahara Desert during an intense heat event that melted desert sand and rapidly cooled it into natural glass. Clear quartz forms when silica-rich mineral fluids slowly crystallize within rock fractures, creating transparent crystals known for their clarity and light-bearing structure.
Energy & Symbolism
In contemporary mineral symbolism, Libyan Desert Glass is often associated with manifestation, direction, and decisive action.
Many people are drawn to it during moments when intentions begin to take form. Its bright golden tone is often interpreted as a reminder to focus energy clearly and move with purpose.
